In no particular order

Sophie and Daddy carved a Jack-O-Latern this morning.

At some point I was Sophie's horse and the other horses needed to lay down with me and be covered by a warm blanket while we read Richard Scarry to our owner. It's possible I didn't use the correct tense of lie, lay. Don't feel the need to correct me.

And she wanted to fight pirate swords with Daddy, so we dressed her like a proper pirate and suprised him. Thanks to Doug and Janelle's National Talk Like A Pirate Day Party we had some gear, although very sad that we could not make the party.

Which is a segway of sorts as we could not go with Daddy's not health. We are pleased to say that Adam had a procedure yesterday and so far...no need for a hospital. Please join us in pressing on God for health for Adam. So far, so good.

And Uncle Ken came too and brought us smiles and hope and this was all before noon. And it was good.

That is one sweet looking pirate costume Sophie, I'm impressed! And letting the horses rest with Mom is a good idea. She's very comforting ;-).

Love,
Auntie Liza
