Things we have to remember

This past Sunday Sophie and I were making coffee (me) and chai (her) and she said, "Mommy please put b...no, flies in my chai?" Naturally, I said "what? put what in your chai?" And she said, "Good flies mommy, good flies." The good gave it away. I asked "Good bugs?!" and heard "Yes mommy."

We break open capsules of good bacteria/probiotics (I'd use the proper names if I knew how to spell them) when she drinks milk...seems to help with...digestion. While doing this we explain to her that we are putting "good bugs" in her milk. Hence...flies.

0 (alarm) to 60 (laughter) in less than a minute, all because of semantics.
